Privacy Policy — Water Hero

Water Hero ("the game") is a free browser game. This policy explains what data is involved when you play. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information the game itself stores

The game saves your progress (coins, upgrades, best score, settings, daily streak) locally on your own device using your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device, is not sent to us, and can be cleared at any time via the in-game Settings → Reset Progress option or by clearing your browser data. We do not require an account and do not collect your name, email, or contact details.

Where you play it (third-party platforms)

Water Hero is distributed on third-party gaming platforms (such as CrazyGames, itch.io, and other web portals) and via GitHub Pages. When you play on one of those platforms, that platform's own privacy policy also applies to your visit.

Advertising

To keep the game free, it may show ads (rewarded videos you choose to watch, and occasional interstitials). These ads are provided by the hosting platform's advertising partners — for example the CrazyGames ad SDK, or Google H5 Games Ads where applicable. These advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. We do not control and are not responsible for the data practices of these advertising partners. Please refer to:

Where required by law (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK), the hosting platform presents a consent prompt that lets you accept or decline personalized advertising.

Analytics

The game may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, only if enabled by the operator) to understand overall usage such as sessions and feature use. This is aggregate and not used to identify you personally.

Children

The game is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising served to audiences that include children is limited to non-personalized ads where required by the hosting platform.

Your choices

• Clear your saved progress any time (Settings → Reset Progress, or clear browser data).
• Accept or decline personalized ads via the consent prompt where shown.
• Use your browser/OS ad and privacy controls.
